You know I am not always an unfeeling prick. Sometimes I even try and help others. This is one of those times.
The “I’m” program from Microsoft is simple and unlike similar rumors in the past this is completely legitimate. If you are using Windows Live Messenger and join the program every time yous tart a chat conversation a small portion of the advertising revenue from Messenger will be donated to a charity of your choice.
How do you make it happen? Simple.
- Install Live Messenger 8.1 if you don’t already have it
- Go ahead and follow the instructions on the “join now” page and remember to hit the “Already have Windows Live Messenger 8.1?” link if that applies to you!
That’s it. They have nice illustated insturctions and it takes 30 seconds. I selected the American Red Cross.
